I was recently accepted to Boston University and want to attend but have a couple of questions about summer credit. This summer I planned on taking one class at community college and another at Northeastern University (Illinois) a local four year college. Will any of the credits transfer to BU. I looked at their website but BU didnt say anything to answer my question.

If the class directly matches the description of the one at BU, they will most likely accept the credit. I have had some summer credits transfered in but this was done after I had already attended a year at BU. The process involved getting a signature fromt he dept. head at BU that the summer class met the BU class reequirement. I am not sure if you would need to do the same as an incoming freshman. I doubt it. If it is a basic course like stats or history 1, then I think you should be fine. WHy don't you look up the number of the department at BU that would cover the class you want to take. They might have some better information. Don't wait too long though. BU school year ends in a few days.

I posted that link a few days ago: credit guide.
