Did anyone get theirs yet? i thought it was suppose to be out the end of may and before June 10th. just wondering if anyone received thiers
Thanks

Last year I didn’t get mine until late June or maybe even early July. You won’t be required to pay the fees until you get your money though.

I think with the increased demand for Financial Aid the last few years they’ve been struggling to stick to deadlines.

Yeah I got mine, I wish they could cover all of your expenses with grants :(, I’m only gettin 2.2K in grants.

I applied by May 1st (incoming student), so I had my Efan earlier.

I have a quick question for someone who doesn’t have an EFAN yet. On URSA, under “View Financial Aid Awards and Summary on URSA” for Summer 2011 do you have actual numbers under student and parent contributions? Theoretically my scholarship should cover everything and it says 0 under both of those for me, but I applied late for financial aid so I’m wondering if it’s just a placeholder and I’ll end up having to pay some money because I applied late.

Before I received my financial aid it used $0 as a placeholder, if you qualified for $0 EFC in the academic year and your parents’ income hasn’t changed much, then it’s safe to assume than the $0 is also for summer aid. However, if EFC was more during the year, then it WON’T but $0 during the summer.

Topramennbaklava, what did you mean by “I applied by May 1st (incoming student), so I had my Efan earlier.” ??? I sent in my SIR before may 1st too, and i didn’t get my efan yet…

I sent in my SIR early April, so I had my UCLA login and e-mail account earlier than most incoming freshmen. May 1st was the expected deadline to apply for financial aid and be considered on time to get the most university aid, so I applied for summer sessions fin aid that date. What date did you guys apply for financial aid?
