Summer & Fall 2011 Course Schedule Released

Hi everyone!

The Summer & Fall 2011 Course Schedule has been released! GatorSchedule (<a href="http://www.gatorschedule.net%5B/url%5D">http://www.gatorschedule.net</a>) has been updated to include Summer & Fall 2011 so that you can search through it!

Thanks,
Murali

Fair disclosure: I developed GatorSchedule, but I generate absolutely no positive revenue (technically its a money sink since I pay to host it, but thats neither here nor there ) from it. Its a useful tool that UF itself should have developed, but oh well. I only ask that if you like it you spread the word about it, and if you don't, drop a comment as to why so I can improve it.

Thanks! I appreciate it!

Hey no problem :)

Wow, Thanks! This is really cool and I expect it’s going to become helpful…

MuraliRath, any idea where this class would be found: CGS2421 Computer Programming for Engineers?

This is Awesome!, Thank you! :)

Hi Jankrav,

Apologies for the late response, but what are you specifically referring to?

Muralirath, I found the answer to my question. thanks.

I’ve been using your site ever since my first semester last fall. I usually have 3 tabs, ISIS, gatorschedule, and ratemyprofessor and it works like a charm. I’ve also been spreading the word when people don’t know how to pick classes.

I know it would be extremely tedious but I just want to know if it’s possible to inbed links to professor ratings from ratemyprofessor.com into your site? That would be magnificent!

I’ve looked into it but don’t remember seeing an easy way to link UF’s course catalog of professors to RateMyProfessor.

I’ll take a look again - maybe they changed something.

Is there any way you can find out who the Chemistry 2045 teachers are for each section?

Hi ufhopeful24,

GatorSchedule.Net works by pulling the UF Course Catalog data published on the Registrar’s website. Basically, you can find all the data GatorSchedule is using by manually perusing those pages - GatorSchedule just makes it searchable for you.

So, long story short - If UF hasn’t published who the professors will be, GatorSchedule won’t be able to tell you.

Having said that, if you look at previous years or semesters, you may be able to find out. The Registrar sometimes updates the pages after the semester has started with the professor who is teaching (Or, in the case of Dr. Hall, removing his name from the class)

Hope that helps,
Murali

Just want to let you know that this is REALLY helpful! :)

Remember… if you like it, tell your friends!

For those of you starting soon… Use GatorSchedule!
