Congrats Patriot! Did you do summer of fall? How did they let you know, did you get an email?

I did summer since I felt I couldn’t get in for Fall, and no i didn’t get an email specifically regarding my admission decision, but I did get one for housing.

And did you check your myucf account? Did it change and now says you were admitted? Can I ask, when did you apply?

yeah I checked it and it says I was admitted, I finished everything and I’m going to pay my tuition deposit Thursday. I applied August 26th to be exact :)

Congrats!
Still waiting on a decision…

I was told if you do not hear by this Friday then they will resume decisions on 1/2/13.

Painful!

Really?
It is painful…

thanks!! :)

I applied the first week in August and I was deferred yesterday pending my current semester grades, which I had sent Friday, I’m guessing they didnt receive them yet. I applied as a transfer because I’ll have my AA in May.

Thank you for the info… I hope you can get in after your senior grades are posted. tHe transcripts were posted on Nov. 22, so the decision will not be posted any time soon…

Ccollege99, do you mind if I ask what your grades/SAT were?

Ccollege99, do you mind if I ask what your grades/SAT were?

My GPA right now is a 3.05 and my SAT was a 1010 and my ACT was 24. I know they’re all pretty low but I thought it’d be good enough as a transfer

@tniemann I think your brother will get in cuz…I GOT IN! Lol I honestly thought I’d be deferred or even rejected but they accepted me for the fall. What I did do though, was send them an email about changing my term on my app. 2 days later, my status was updated. Overall it was a month for my acceptance. It was either my SAT, ECs, volunteering, or essay that got me in cuz people with higher gpas are denied sometimes…

Btw my unweighted GPA was 2:5, my weighted, 4:2 and critread/59?**

Abby you got in with a 2.5 gpa?!

Also they deferred me and said they wanted to see my fall semester grades. I got 3 B’s and I had withdrawn from 2 classes because I changed my major so I also have 2 W’s. Do you think they’ll look down on that?

Lol I feel asleep while writing my post XD. Ok critread: 580 math: 620 writing:620

@Ccollege99 that’s my unweighted. My weighted with all my AP and IB classes is 4.2. but even so, it’s a miracle lol. My UCF GPA when recalculated is 3.0 or 3:1. It’s cuz I’ve been taking AP/Pre-IB/IB classes only since freshman year. I’ve been VERY involved in ECs and a LOT OF volunteering (i even volunteered in another country). I think IB helped me get in…I figure they decided to take a risk with me cuz they know I’m one of those smart but lazy students lol

When I was in highschool my unweighted was around a 3.2 and my weighted was over a 4.0 because I took a lot of dual enrolment classes. Im considered a sophomore now in college even though I just graduated highschool in May. When I applied to UCF as a transfer it didn’t even ask me for essays or anything, I kind of wish it did because I also had a lot of volunteer work in the medical field
