@decorus yes, I have taken cal 1 and currently taking cal 2. I’ve taken Chem 1, Chem 2, O Chem 1, Bio 1, Bio 2, Statistics, Statistics for Psychology and other core requirements. This semester I’m taking an upper level neuroscience course, O Chem 2, Cal 2, and finishing up the core poli sci. That makes me feel better tho. My ECs are the thing that will really hold me down if anything.

@arod356 Your stats look really well. For Cockrell, it is good that you have a 4.0 because engineering and the business school are the top two hardest schools to transfer into. GPA is heavily weighted and you look like you are in good standing. I wish you the best.
@decorus What about my B in composition 2? Will that be a stab in the back?
@arod356 shouldn’t be , your GPA would still above a 3.9 so your solid for the most part , your total GPA should be around a 3.95 or higher ,no need to worry
Chance me for Fall 2015!
Desired Major : ECE in Cockrell
Current School : other UT system school ; Also doing CAP so for the most part UGS is guaranteed
AP credit in hours : 21 hours

Does Dual Credit transfer over? I have 12 hours from dual credit so will they count towards my transfer application and process?
@Kyotoraz Yes dual credit counts. Be sure to send in the transcript from the corresponding college!

I am currently a member of two pre-health organizations and am hoping to become a member of a community outreach club, an honors club, and either a science organization or another pre-health. By the end of the year I should have 100+ hours of volunteer service.
I have 200+ volunteer hours from high school involving art clubs, NHS, and pet rescue organizations. I participated in varsity Orchestra for two years and was a National Hispanic Scholar as well.
I realize I don’t have any calculus but I am hoping to take the CLEP test.
- Could anyone help chance me please?
- What, if any, majors would I have the best shot at in CNS? I was considering Human Development or Public Health, I want to change my major to biochem/nutrition eventually but for now I just want to be admitted to the school......

@Chuffer You have great stats! Are you a CAP student or attend a UT System school?
@petitemish Other than the fact that you don’t have the calculus that CNS wants your stats are great. Pretty good chance but have a backup outside of CNS because even if calculus isn’t a “requirement” it certainly plays a big role in your admission process. Good luck!
@Chuffer Amazing stats! May I ask why did you not apply for this spring semester because with those hours you would have been a strong applicant?
I am currently a CAP student at a UT satellite school. I did not apply for the Spring because I am just now taking the Physics I Lab and Calculus II, which are required to gain admissions into engineering.
For the letter of recommendations we just send them in by mail to the admissions office right?
@Kyotoraz I believe you can upload them through MyStatus.
My prof. doesn’t allow me to do it tho. Lolll
@cdctransfer I have all of mine in paper copies so would these work?
@Kyotoraz Either send them to the admissions office or scan and upload them.
