Sucks being non-cap waiting until June. Oh, UT. Killing me slowly. Is it worth it to update my resume saying that I am on the president’s list and dean’s list? Is that redundant if they saw my GPA?
@Geekytheatregeek I was thinking the same thing. Honestly, I wouldn’t go through the hassle of updating it since it shows on your transcript as you said.
@Geekytheatregeek Maybe you could use it for an appeal, just in case.
@cathys424 I’m not sure. Could be, but I don’t know that if you were admitted in high school that it matters how early you get it. I actually applied as a transfer last year, got in and had to turn it down for personal reasons and I haven’t found out yet.
Well, I’d say the acceptance was probably to do some automatic or “outstanding” thing about her application that made it happen earlier than the others (remember that note in the “hearing back” section) since it seems to be one of the only ones sent out right now, but I’d also say that it means decisions for us regular folk will be coming out pretty soon. Hang tight, y’all!!
Side note: is anyone else kind of afraid to check MyStatus now? I used to check it a lot but now that it’s so close to the deadline I get real anxious about clicking on my application. To think - in one click, I may figure out if I’m moving halfway across the country back to my homeland. Though, I suppose it is not so dramatic for others.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I hadn’t posted my stats because I was just “stalking” this page, but I got my acceptance through MyStatus this morning!! I applied to COLA- Spanish with a 3.71 GPA from ACC. I am so freaking stoked!!

Hi I got my acceptance to fall 2015 this morning. I applied for a government major at COLA with a 3.7 gpa from lone star college. I also had one letter of recommendation from an internship I did w a Texas rep and like 70+ hours of community service and a job for 3 years. I was also phi theta kappa. Hope this helps!

Congratulations, @vo5512 ! @MathMeany , the deadline I was given to accept the offer was May 1st, but I imagine they would have to give different deadlines to those who get later acceptances.
