Summer/Fall 2015 Transfer Thread

Moody applicant as well. Nothing yet.

I applied to McCombs school as well and I am also still waiting. Congratulations on your decision @dlm140030. Would you and @ecollin please share your stats if you both don’t mind?

If I had 1st choice as COLA and still haven’t gotten a decision yet, does that mean that I will probably get denied?

Lol no it means they haven’t gotten to you yet

@dlm140030 were you a CAP student?

Moody applicant too…it looks like Moody people heard back later last year too

@puthar96 Good luck with the application, hopefully we will hear back soon!

Stats:
GPA:4.0
Credit hours: 49
Letter of rec: 5 (4 from professors and one from my boss who is the owner and president of the company I work for)
Extracurricular: Full-time assistant at a money management company, very few volunteer hours
Essays: Good, not amazing though.
All indicators completed.

Share yours as well if you don’t mind.

Anybody know when Moody applicants tended to start hearing back - from last year’s threads?
Dying over here!!!

Congrats to everyone who got accepted today! I’m waiting to hear back from McCombs and going crazy!

Does anyone know about how much time is usually between each round of decisions?

Fingers crossed for all of us still waiting to hear and congrats again to those who got accepted today!

@l8erSMU from past threads it’s sometimes just a few hours, the rounds are normally not far apart at all. We are a few here waiting for McCombs. :fist:

@puthar96 I posted my stats earlier on pg 41 or 40, check through it, and no im not cap, im a freshman at UTD.

@dlm140030 , I’m a freshman at UTD too, so hope to join you at UT.

Has anyone heard from Cockrell yet?

I got accepted into COLA, B.S. Psychology major today!
Stats:
GPA: 3.79 (3.912 University of Houston GPA)
Credit hours: 32
Letter of rec: 0
Extracurricular: Part time soccer referee, HOSA state, shadowed surgeons at hospital.
Essays: A bit above average.

I was accepted to COLA for International Relations today!

Stats:
San Jacinto College
GPA: 4.0
Credit hours: 39 (AP included)
Letter of rec: 1 (from high school English teacher)
Extra-curriculars: too many to list, but I have also lived abroad and I am bilingual as well. I don’t know if that had any impact on my decision but it correlates to my major.
Essays: I worked hard on them, but I didn’t have them reviewed by anybody before I submitted them.

I graduated third in my class a year early from high school in a different state, too. However, I have been living in Texas for the past year and am now considered a Texas resident.

Hope the rest of you guys get good news soon! The wait was the worst… I spent the past couple of months anonymously stalking this thread. (-; Best of luck!

Still patiently awaiting my Cockrell rejection.

COCKRELL…

Does anyone know what GPA you need for COLA?

3.0 recommended for COLA

It seems like UT sent their decision only for COLA applicants …
