@blacksheep1234 I am not quite sure what you mean with “doesn’t buy it.” It just shows that cockrell are taking some time sending out acceptances , just like many other colleges are.
It looks like he got in so quickly because he would have gotten in as a HS applicant and he’s not far removed from that with only one semester of college
@cagirl24 thank you! Yes, I found out today on the my status page. I’m not sure if it was updated today though; a couple of days passed between the last time I checked.
It’s moving so slow, we just got two acceptances and both from COLA alone. Looks like these could be the last we hear for this week as we heard nothing during the weekend last week.
3.5 GPA

Previous CAP but I elected to attend another University for 2 years (wrong choice, I should have CAP’d!)
For future consideration:
I applied as a Sophomore Transfer and was not accepted.
The major difference between this year and last was I found the major I loved and I think it showed in class everyday. I had professors that wrote stunning LORs, I owe them many thanks.
Hi, glad to see acceptances are rolling out. @MyUTAustin my major for COLA is economics but I was not enrolled in any classes this spring which is probably why I got a decision so early.
Has anyone heard anything from the College of Natural Sciences? I applied well before the March deadline and its just a waiting game at this point, but every time I call to check on when the majority of acceptances are going to roll out for students with 30+ hours, they keep pushing me back. First it was Mid April, Early May, Mid May, and when I checked yesterday, I got June 1 at the earliest. I’m coming in from GaTech, so its frustrating with registration over and fee deadlines fast approaching.
Not sure if this has been addressed, but there is a big scandal with UT admissions right now. This might be the reason for all the delays and conflicting reports of when we are supposed to hear back.
