Do u guys really think it’s gonna be June for the decisions. They should at lease understand that not everyone lives in austin and we have many more arrangements to do if we join that university. But I think that it won’t be that late.
and i called admissions today. they stated that for highly selective schools, like engineering, mid June is very likely. My buddy got accepted last summer late june. He was all set to attend University of Houston and had to reverse everything.
Does anybody know when the summer 2015 semister begin? at least the decision should be sent a few days before it starts.
Hi @Mohyeen , your stats are terrific, I’m sure you have an acceptance coming your way very soon.
Thank you! @MyUTAustin … I got accepted last week. ( someone asked for my stats when i posted that i was accepted)
Oh Congratulations
Hey so do you guys have any knowledge of people who missed their enrollment deposit deadline for legitimate reasons?
I’m afraid they will be even harsher on OOS applicants because they know a late decision might mean they have less of a possibility of attending if they get accepted. This sucks.
I think I’ll have to go to A&M. I register my summer classes on 21st May after that there is no going back.
But I’ll rather not go to a university which doesn’t think its students or to be students should be dealt in a better way.
I am really pissed rn.
@Dayeedkhan I may end up at A&M too…because of the enrollment deposit.
@carsonB , Did you talk to admissions guy’s. I’m sure they’ll understand. UT admission is not something that’ll go in the drain just like that. I’d run to them right in the morning if I were you and resolve it ASAP.
OK, looks like some of last nights drama has been removed. Great! I understand everyone’s frustration with this person (I feel it too!), but lets try and keep this place happy and supportive (and do our best to ignore those who do not share that vision.) This forum is one of the few reasons why I have been able to not go insane while waiting. Crossing all fingers that we will all hear something from UT shortly. We are all in this together
Yes, it had to be reported lol. Everyone is clearly on edge haha.

I really think it’s maybe 50/50 for me to be accepted, I’ve already been accepted to Texas State, I am just wondering if should keep waiting or cut my losses and move on.
Just GOT ACCEPTED today at 9:00AM! don’t lose hope guys, I believe in all of yall. I had 38 hours before the deadline. A 3.85 GPA, solid essays, average EC’s. And got in for the summer session. Major is Neuroscience in CNS. HOOK EM!
Congratulations!!! @TexasOVO23
By when do you have to accept the offer?
Do y’all think that UT could take back their acceptance if your GPA for this semester was a little low? I’ve done pretty well in terms of grades as far as the last three semesters, the ones UT is using to admit me or not, but my GPA has fallen a little this spring semester. Would they take back their acceptance?
