I got into Petroleum engineering for summers
I lost all hope for McCombs after reading your stats.I think I will get into COLA but I want to get into business so I guess I have to got to UH Bauer Business School.Congrats for COLA economics though! Good luck

I have been reading your thread every time some anxiety kicks in about being admitted. 
(I’m still waiting, too) As for the latest that transfers should receive a decision, according to http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/transfer/admission/after-you-apply, it says “Most transfer applicants to the summer/fall semester are notified of their admission decision by June 15 although some decisions may be made earlier.” Whoever wrote that August date is cruel. >:( I hope I helped some anxiety a little! I wish everyone the best!!!
Also, just for any spring applicants, it also says “Most spring semester transfer applicants are notified in November.” :)>-

@Dayeedkhan well that depends on what kind of person you are… do you like big cities and city life or do you like calm peace suburban type life. Also do you like to have a community type feel or a dispersed everybody is on there own type feel. Its a very subjective answer… either way they both are ranked top notch and i had a really really good friend whose brother graduated from Pet E there and he has an awesome job and got great internships from A&M
