summer film programs for rising hs seniors

Emerson's Young Filmmakers Studio program is supposed to be excellent - worth the commitment (5 weeks) and financial responsibility ... ANY FEEDBACK PLEASE. This is a serious student who wants to focus on his craft this summer.

My son spent two summers there in the early 2000s. It was a great experience and helped him get into USC’s School of Cinema Arts.

Ask ur question in the college majors, visual arts section. Lot’s of helpful people there.
Emerson is a great place to major in film prod in college, so I would assume that the summer program is good, but ask here…

The summer program at northwestern is awesome as well.

It’s pricey but they do offer financial assistance if you qualify.

My daughter attended the Emerson summer film program and really learned a lot.

She was a rising high school junior at the time.

I think most of the programs are for entering freshman because they want to entice you into their school. I’m not sure about graduating seniors.

You might want to look at Chapman Dodge Summer Film Academy.
