<p>Hey everyone, I was wondering what kind of financial aid students get for the summer. Has anyone received cal grant/ pell grant for summer aid? I'm trying to get an idea of what is offered for the summer.</p>
<p>I've used up all of my pell grant allowance for the year but have not touched my cal grant. </p>

<p>There is no summer Pell grant. The only way you can get Pell in the summer is if you did not use up your full eligibility for the school year (because you were part time or did not attend the full year).</p>
<p>There was a short period that additional summer Pell was available. It lasted maybe 2 years before they cancelled it.</p>
<p>There actually is a summer pell grant. I’m getting University Grant and Federal Pell Grant for summer. I got my package and it fully covered my tuition. but again I’m on blue and gold scholarship. </p>
<p>It does exist tho! :)</p>
