summer financial aid

If we apply for financial aid over the summer, is the amount we receive deducted from the amount we receive over the year?

No, it isn’t. Two separate packages. Schoolyear applies to F-W-S quarters; S is itself.

I believe if you choose to accept the summer package, your package for the regular school year is reduced (in grants).

I don’t know what happens if you plan to graduate after summer though.

how does summer fee work? if i choose to do summer school as OOS, do i still have to pay the same OOS fee in addition to the normal yearly registration fees?

summer – you pay by units. so, oos doesnt matter. check fees @ [UCLA Summer Sessions and Special Programs](http://www.summer.ucla.edu)

so yea its way cheaper to do it during the summer than during the year… closer to normal tuition

aww hell yea. thanks a bunch!

Boelter, that should be incorrect. Summer financial aid and regular fin aid are separate.
