<p>I signed up for 8 units for summer and cars is charging me and telling me to pay now. What if we get financial aid during summer? will they refund me or.. how does that work out?</p>

<p>If you take at least 6 units in the summer, and was on financial aid for the 2008-2009 year, your class units will be paid for by grant. At least this was my case last summer.</p>

<p>You need to go directly to the Financial Aid office and get THEIR answer. It's the only one that counts. They will give you all the specifics.</p>

<p>This happened to me last year. Just make sure you fill and turn in this year's fafsa before deadline, and leave the CARS bill for summer tuition. Make sure you pay for everything else that's for this month/semester though. The CARS people took care of my summer tuition when the financial aid had been all processed. Fafsa Due date/deadline is march 2nd btw.</p>
