Anyone else get rejected for Fall2006 but accepted for Summer Freshman Class 2006???

yup, i did.
its actually a good deal, you get to take some freshman classes and get them out of the way while there are fractions of the people on campus. classes are also shortened, and rumored to be easier. i have several friends who have done it, and several who have not. those who have said that they loved it, and those who just came in the fall said they wished they had taken summer classes.
you also become more familiar with the campus, how to use the library, etc...
i was bummed at first, but after thinking about it, i think it will be alright. feel free to IM me at SublimeLAXer (on AIM) if you want to talk more about it, meet when you get here...
ill just be commuting from my house (10 minutes from campus) until fall, where ill move into towers

I got summer too. I'm rather disappointed because it wrecks any/all summer plans I had, but I'm still excited and looking forward to it, and even think it's better this way. Though I'm going forced to attend summer school, I'm begining to almost feel as if its a privilege (I think my ego just doesn't want to take the rejection).
