Recs for specific classes or…?

Recs for specific classes and for the summer program itself would be awesome!

My D did Summer@Brown which I’d say is probably similar, from what I’ve read about the Harvard and Princeton summer programs. For Brown you apply to and then after acceptance you pick your class…and there are literally hundreds offered throughout the summer.

My advice would be to choose the course that interests you the most. I don’t think you get credit or grades for those programs, so it’s a good time to try something new or risky. D did a neuroscience and disease course, something she’d never studied at all, and loved it.

Honestly, D also took class time into account…classes were 3 hours long 5 days a week and there were 9AM, 12:30 and 3:30 options. She knew which one she wanted and chose from the classes offered at that time ;)

Thank you!

i didnt even know princeton HAD a summer program but i did harvard’s and unlike brown you actually get 8 undergraduate college credits since its technically at harvard summer school like my econ class had a significant number of college students and adults. i liked it a lot

Harvard’s program is separate from the university itself and many professors and students are from other institutions. The quality of instruction varies from class to class. The cost of the program per credit is quite high. Even so, the experience of earning college credits as a high school student alongside college students is valuable.

You can do Brown for credit but you have to be a senior.

Princeton has a few different programs, Global Leadership via CTY is one.

I don’t get it, what kind of program? Pick the one that best fits your goals

I like economics, science, and history the most, if that helps.
