Currently living in Degraff and plan on attending Summer A/B and living in McCollum Hall this summer.
Move out day for Degraff is May 4th and move in day for McCollum is May 9th. Any suggestions on how to move my stuff efficiently from one dorm to another without moving all my stuff back home for only 5 days ?
Can I leave my stuff early into McCollum after moving out of Degraff ?

You might be able to move-in early to McCollum. If not, the dorms do allow you to store some stuff in them while they are closed. It wouldn’t be an entire apartment’s worth of stuff, but you would get to store some items- I think they say it’s one or two boxes.

You can move in early w/out a problem. I moved in early to Rogers and moved ALL my stuff in. I was in Ragans prior to Rogers so it was easy to move in early bc my room was already available for me and “clean”.
I could have easily moved my stuff in and went back home for those 2 or so weeks, and they woulnd’t have cared that I transferred my entire room over to Rogers.

I think the two box rule is if you are moving within the same building and they store your stuff in tiny hallway closets. I remember in Ragans people who were leaving just stored some things between the Summer and Fall break bc their rooms were being moved to different rooms w/in the building and their room wasn’t available yet for them.
My ex-roommate was moving to Traditions from Ragans and they let her move ALL her stuff over to Traditions before Fall way before the move-in date w/out a problem bc her room was available to do so.
As long as you notify housing before hand then they can help you out. I’d contact the lady in charge of all the Housing stuff bc the other people working there usually are clueless.
