Summer Internship in Another Country

Hey guys,

I am a high school junior in New York City. I've been offered two internship/summer works positions and I was wondering if you guys could help me choose. Both are non-paid. One is at a research lab at Columbia University (at the Mailman School of Public Health), they haven't placed me in a specific lab, and the other is at the 2nd largest NGO in Bangladesh working on their Arsenic Mitigation Program. At this point both look like really great jobs and both look like things I'd be interested in doing so really I was wondering do you think either looks more impressive on a college application (I know i should do something i want to do, not something that looks good for college but honestly both could be exciting and if we're browsing this site we obviously all have a vested interest in getting into a good college).

Thanks for any help!
