<p>I'm currently a junior looking for summer internships or employment for 2015. I was planning on applying to lab research positions but since my orchestra is going on a 2 week tour in June, I am not eligible for many 8 week programs that require full attendance. For example, the STARS research program at UT Southwestern would be perfect if not for my conflict.</p>
<p>Does anyone know of programs or opportunities that start July or later in STEM and non-STEM fields? I don't mind if it's not paid, but I'm not willing to shell out thousands of dollars for a gimmicky resume padder. I just want summer work experience that is competitive to get. An example of what I want is the JWAC summer internship in downtown Dallas. </p>
