<p>As a Pre-Vet undergrad, i'd love to hear what vet students did during their summers while they were in undergrad. Internships/jobs/abroad - any ideas would be most helpful - thanks!</p>
<p>Friend in vet school now studied biology and Spanish in Central America between freshman and sophomore years. After sophomore year took 2 semesters of a required science course in the summer. The next summer had an internship at National Zoo. The summer before starting vet school was spent in a government research position.</p>
