Summer internships starting to ramp up

<p>Son got three notifications in his email this week.</p>

<p>Homeland Security is looking for undergrad researchers in engineering, computer science, math, physics, chemistry bio/life sciences, agricultural sciences, environmental science, psychology, social services at multiple locations around the country. $5,000 + travel.</p>

<p>University of Arizona (Tucson) looking for cs, math, MIS, stats, engineering, physics.</p>

<p>Trinity (San Antonio) announced an REU for CS students for AI research.</p>

<p>Hopefully a lot more show up in the months ahead.</p>

<p>S and a few of his friends have already been offered and accepted internships for this coming summer. Several companies started interviewing at his uni in September for summer interns and made offers in October and November.</p>
