Summer internships with your state's senator?

<p>Has anyone applied in the past to intern during the summer with one of your states senators in either their Washington DC office or one of their in-state offices?</p>

<p>If so, how would you say your overall experience was? What was the usual kind of work you were in charge of? Would you recommend it?</p>
