I am currently a sophomore chemE major and u have a 3.6 gpa and I was wondering how to get a summer internship. Is it possible to just google summer internships and apply? Or would that not work? Should I go to my universities career center? Would I even have a chance since I am not a junior or senior?

I would try to work through your career center and if you have career fairs at your school use those. You would have a good shot as a sophomore(I and many of the people I know had internships after sophomore year). Rather than using google to find internships find companies you would like to work for and go to their careers page most will have a section for college students. Best of luck.
