Notre Dame has an engineering program. I was accepted to it, but couldn't attend.

Arizona State University & University of Arizona both appear to offer summer engineering programs as well. Don't know anything about them, but they are described on the websites. Summer in England sounds fun!

HIMom, thanks for the additional information. I think she's decided to attend the Missouri - Rolla program. It fits her schedule - which has now expanded to include a one week sports camp in addition to everything else - and it appears to give an overview of all types of engineering, which I think she needs. I hope she gets a good feel for what engineering is and what the profession entails. That said, she certainly seems interested in the field lately - I ordered the introduction to engineering magazine that was recommended on one of these threads. She read it closely, then cut out and framed the picture of Bill Nye... which is now sitting prominently on a shelf in her room. I am not even going to try to analyze that. And I agree, summer in England sounds great, doesn't it. Just wish I could join her!

Hi. You mentioned an introduction to engineering magazine. I'm very curious- What is the name (and web site)? Has it been helpful? Thanks.
