<p>LoL, I think the consensus (? sp) is that you should do both.</p>
<p>I am volunteering at the library for a month or two and then I’ll land a job there! Best of both worlds.</p>
<p>If both isn’t an option…</p>

<li><p>If you need the money (seems unlikely that you’d be asking if you did, but just in case), do the paid one.</p></li>
<li><p>If you don’t, do the one you’d rather do (seems like the volunteering one based on your post).</p></li>

<p>Get a funner job like Sea World or the Zoo or Six Flags.</p>
