Now that I'm back home for summer and clearly not able to work at my on-campus job, I need a source of income to sustain myself. Anyone know of/have experience with places that hire for summer only? Preferably NOT a summer camp because try as I might, I am just not good with children. Thanks!

Try…malls…fast food…also you could look into temp agencies

Tutoring? It’s decent and I think the working environment is better

I wish I could get a job tutoring. Cushiest job ever with too high of pay.

Delta is hiring seasonal customer service employees. It’s a pretty sick job. Over $10/hour and you get 40 hours a week. Oh and you get flight benefits. But if your not interested I say look at craigslist.

Go to delta.greatjob.net

I posted my tutoring services on craigslist… we’ll see what happens

Who wouldn’t want an engineer from the freaking university of michigan teaching your kid math and science

Museums have volunteer and job opportunities for summer only.

u could volunteer at the library

You could go the the local workforce center to see job listings available in the area. That is what I am doing and it has helped. I have an interview tomorrow actually.
