So my 92 Ford Aerostar is long past due for the junkyard, and I need a full or near full time job this summer to help me make a down payment on a new vehicle. Hopefully a job I can do for 2-3 summers straight to keep up with the payments.

-Im a freshman with a high school diploma
-Im not willing to do any sort of job that reuires heavy lifting and will cayse me to need Tommy johmn surgery before Im 30

What jobs pays that most that isnt completely unbearable?

I wish you luck finding someone who will hire you full-time for 3 months! Really, employers don't want people who arent going to be around for a while. Start looking for a minimum wage job right now, so you'll be there for at least 6 months. It'll look better than 3.

I worked for my school for the summer. I was working for minimum wage, but they paid for my apartment. I would never do it again, but at least I got my college job out of it. I think this summer I'll be interning, which will be much more bearable.

I've said this before in another thread but if you're only available for 3 months try working at a temp agency in your area. Based on your preferences in work environments and your qualifications, the temp agency will put you to work in one or more assignments over the course of a summer. IMO, temping is a great way to make extra cash during school vacations.

If there's a Target in your area, their starting pay is $7/hr, and I was making decent money only working part-time (20-30hrs/wk) for a month and a half (made about $400).

Depending what your SAT scores you can apply to SAT Tutoring companies. The pay is way better than $10/hour. You need to document your score and you will need to do a phone interview. Do you live in an urban area?

Another vote for signing up with a temp agency. The pay in our area is $10-$12/hour. Another plus: my S was able to return to his summer position during his month-long winter break just by calling the temp agency who had placed him there initially.
