Now that I'm accepted at Harvard, I would like to have a summerjob or paid internship in America instead of my own country (in Western-Europe) to get used to the American culture and way of doing things before the academic year actually starts. However, I do not know where to start looking. Any tips for an upcoming Harvard freshman?

You might try reaching out to the Woodbridge Society: [Woodbridge Society of International Students at Harvard](http://www.woodbridgesociety.org/)

They run the international student orientation program + might have some ideas.

FYI - I (arrogantly) assumed that, having been accepted to Harvard, I could get an awesome job for the summer after high school… but ended up having no luck. (I wouldn’t worry though - there’s lots of time + opportunities for great jobs once you actually get to Harvard!)
