My son applied to the summer programs at Baldwin Wallace, Pace and Marymount Manhattan. If he is lucky enough to get accepted to all or some, we are wondering which one to choose. Does anyone have any information from past participants on any of these programs? How do they compare? Similarities? Differences?
Congratulations to your son. I’d recommend looking at each program and seeing what is best for your son - are the programs 2, 3 or 4 weeks? Are they 9-5 day camps, or sleepaway camps? Are the teachers in camp actual professors at the school or are they students or grad students in the program?
The advice above is really good! I think it also depends on what exactly your son wants in a program. I may be wrong, but I think Baldwin Wallace’s program is a weeklong program focused on preparing for college auditions. Pace’s program is a two week intensive that is more focused on instruction/training. I don’t know much about Marymount Manhattan’s program, but they have a strong theatre program, so I’m sure their summer one is good as well. It depends on what exactly he wants out of an intensive.
