<p>Hi all, I'm a junior trying to decide the best way to spend my last summer before starting on college applications. I applied to Stanford summer college (accepted), Stanford summer institutes/EPGY in bioscience (accepted), and COSMOS at UC Irvine (decisions come out this week). I was wondering if any of you have gone to any of these programs yourself or could offer some insight to the value and rigor of each program. What are the classes and students like? What is the social life/free time like? Did you make any valuable connections to college students/professors, or do you think the program boosted your college resume in a meaningful way? Do you recommend one program over another?
All three are great options (and about the same level of expense, with financial aid), so I would greatly appreciate any information or opinions about Stanford summer programs or COSMOS! Thanks!!</p>
