So who's going and who's staying to party for the night? I don't know anyone in Santa Barbara but I was wondering who's down to stay around and check out UCSB in its after hours.

By the way anyone want to carpool? I live in San Gabriel right by Pasadena. Hit me up if you want to arrange a carpool.

P.S. I will definitely be back by saturday morning since I have school that morning but definitely down to party all night.

it was ok...haha I definitely didn't need to stay the entire time. But it's a good chance to get used to the campus and a good excuse to go to the beach! I'm not sure what else to say about it lol

it was rather boring. It really is not necessary to go.

Calicurls, i would assume from your name that you have curly hair, and the fact that you drove down early, possibly a parent went with you. If any of those are right, there were very few people with curly hair that were not parents.

yup that was me...it was boring, stuffy, but again--a great excuse to be in SB, which i LOVE. Are you going to the FULL on orientation? they were pretty adament about it...

i am going to be there but haven't signed up yet. Lucky me then, 2.5 weeks till i am up there. My first session will only be one class since i only have one class left to get into my major. No mo have driving 25 miles to class. I only have to walk a few minutes to the art building for math 34b

I am worried though because i must get a B or higher or else cannot get into my major unless i go back and take 3A and 3B which would move my upper division classes all the way to winter. I wanted to take 2 classes, but not with that extra pressure. However i saw students using the same book i used for biz calc and i finished the whole thing, so i hope it is review.

don't feel too pressured. you've gotten this far, you'll suceed in the class if you truly work hard for it. And you'll have the weekends to blow off steam at the beach or DP

so do you sign up for classes at orientation? is required to go? i live like 40 min north of ucsb and if its not really worth going i might just skip out...
