Summer Package Address Mixup

I seem to have a bit of a problem. I ordered six books from Amazon earlier this week, but I mistakenly used my Cornell Address instead of my home address. To make matters worse, my Cornell address is no longer valid, since I lived in Carl Becker House on West Campus, and next year, I"m going to be in collegetown.

The books came in two packages, one of which was delivered and signed for, and the other which is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.

So, my question is, what will happen to my packages? And how would you go about getting them sent here (to NJ) remotely? I'd like them as soon as possible, and I don't feel like making the five hour trek to Cornell this summer.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

the best way i can think of is calling CORNELL MAIL SERVICES and asking what happened to your packages...

They'd actually never see it, it was shipped by UPS directly to my dorm. They only receive packages that have an "insufficient address" or are for "departments. But, you'd know that if you read their page, yes?

Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but the manner of capitalization in your post makes me believe you're trying to be a smartass. Again, tone is an easy thing to misconstrue in text alone, and if this is the case, then I'm sorry.

no i wasnt being a smartass but i know that as a freshman i picked up my mail at the RPCC mail center...

where do you go to pick up your mail while living in becker? i'm not familiar with west campus housing...

they deliver it directly to the dorm, and i picked it up there. Literally, twenty feet outside of my suite. Oh well, I'll figure it out tomorrow, thanks anyway for your responses.

if at the end of the yr when you signed out and left a forwarding address, they will put the forwarding address on there (if sent by USPS) and it'll get to you. as for fedex, ups, or dhl, you'd probably have to call them and the dorm to try to get it sent to you. might cost you extra, dunno.

i don't care what it costs, i need those books ASAP to polish off my business plan. Thanks. I plan on calling Becker, UPS, etc tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
