Anyone here have any comments about taking Physics at USC in the summer vs. UCLA, community college, or your state school? Did you like it?

My daughter took Biology 1 and 2 at community college. Even though USC considered them equivalent to BISC 120 and 220, I can tell you they weren't even close in terms of depth of material taught. At USC these courses are killer classes that bedevil the pre-meds, while at community college they were coloring pictures and doing crosswords for homework. There is a difference between USC and community college. (I know, Duh.)

So, in your case I would not expect that much Physics to be taught or learned if the student goes the CC route. Whether or not that is important in the long run you have to judge.
