<p>i am getting a job as a waitress at this bar on a lake in Wisconsin. and then pretty much just taking care of myself and getting ready for the big move -in to Ithaca. man it is gonna be emotional...</p>

<p>You can only do it if you are 1) NOT white, or 2) Are a girl, or 3) Have some kind of disability. Just so that people who dont meet these criteria don't get their hopes up.</p>
<p>Well its possible....but highly unlikely if you don't satisfy those requirements. I made it to round two of the application pool last year....but my interviews didn't go too well....hopefully, it'll all be better this time around.</p>

<p>If you are a minority you might get an invitation to the COSEP prefreshman summer program. Basically they pay for you to spend 6 wks at Cornell and to get a jump on some of your required classes. They also pay your entire summer savings expectation. If you get invited you should definitely go; its well worth it.</p>
<p>oooooh summer! I'm going on a cruise to the caribbean with a group of my friends in June to just relax and let loose on our own and i just moved to a house on Lake Washington so i'll be boating, water skiing and partying all day... sooo excited!! then in august i will get to meet all of you wonderful people!</p>

<p>Has anyone even mentioned BEACH WEEK??????? This should be the highlight of your summer. After that working by day, partying by night. Maybe visit friends in Charleston and Cape Cod.</p>
