<p>Beach week?</p>
<p>Why a week? Why not the entire summer? I only live 10 minutes from the shore.</p>
<p>Haha yeah... I do day trips all the time, too. :)</p>
<p>afternoon trips. the 3 minutes walk from my summer house back door to the ocean...heheh</p>
<p>Beach Week is the first week after school gets out where everyone from your school/entire area goes to the beach where good times are had by all. I go to a different beach (Pawleys Island SC) in August but Beach Week is clearly the highlight of the summer. Especially for graduating senior like me this is our last chance to party with all my friends before we all do our separate things in summer and then go off to college.</p>
<p>Awwe that's a really nice idea. How far are you from the beach?</p>
<p>Our current project is finding a house/hotel room for Memorial Day Weekend...</p>
<p>yeah following prom we rent houses and spend a week at the beach</p>
<p>I think we're going to the Jersey shore after prom</p>
<p>Us too.. I really don't want to stay in Seaside though and nowhere else wants to rent to prom groups.... lol</p>
<p>just be like "hi i'd like to rent a house," in a fancy old british accent, they'll never guess!</p>
<p>I'm trying to get a job over the summer, which will probably end up being shelving books at the Barnes & Noble (fun). There has not been much talk of "beach week" at my school. There have been two other large group trip possibilites:</p>
<p>1) A bunch of people go to China
2) A bunch of people go to Cancun (which is kinda like a beach week)</p>
<p>Of course, what I really want to be doing this summer is reenacting the Mastercard commercials from two years ago. You know, going to a baseball game at every ballpark in the country. Now that's fun. Go Nats!</p>

<p>Hey IggyShuffle if you're from the DC area you should go to beach week at Bethany or Ocean City. Its basically everyone from Montgomery County transplanted to the beach for a week. I can't wait for the Nats new stadium in Southeast DC! Hopefully they will be worth the risk of getting shot and mugged.</p>
<p>What's everyone doing for Spring Break since it's coming up soon. A ton of my friends are going to Cancun. Hopefully I'll be going to Spain or Italy. Good times in Spain two summers ago, great culture there and its less Eurotrashy than the rest of Europe.</p>
<p>I'm really not sure about spring break... I'll probably end up going to Florida last minute. I want to plan a bigger trip when school gets out before all my friends and I go off to college.</p>

<p>hotness. I hope I can get a place to stay in MV for july, otherwise I'll be in princton until August when my fam goes up.</p>
