Summer Plans

All my friends seem to be doing something important over the summer: medical programs, summer classes, volunteering at hospitals, etc. All I seem to have planned is tennis, volunteering at the library, chilling with friends, and if I get the job I applied for, tutoring kids.

I dunno, I feel like my summer's too lax.

What are you guys doing?

Making bank… Gonna be mannying these two kids for 12 bucks an hour… Was considering going to do a program somewhere, but how am I supposed to refuse that much money?

I might be hosting a French exchange student in July! Other than that, just normal stuff like hanging out with friends, getting ready for college, and (hopefully) getting a job.

It seems like your summer activities are great. I’m doin’ research.

Volunteering and working out, dont trip rrcjmcandless. Just volunteer and do whatever you want; dont forget its summer!

HS summer stuff is never really that important… With the obvious exception of stuff like RSI.

Volunteering at a local hospital, taking a seminar at a local university, studying Algebra II and AP US History on my own… Yeah, a bit loaded.

I will be spending my summer taking college classes at the university in my city, as I have been doing for the past few summers. I’m in Dual Enrollment. When I’m not in class, I will be working at the law firm I have been at for the past three years. I’m also going to attempt to make trips to my high school to help out with the yearbook. I will hopefully be editor this coming year. It will be my senior year of high school, but I won’t actually be attending my high school since I have all of my graduation requirements out of the way. I’m going to spend my senior year at the college and rack up some more college credits. I’ll be graduating in May of 2012 with my high school diploma AND my Associate of Arts degree. Summer will be somewhat busy, but fun.

Relaxing
Practicing piano/violin
Interning at DA’s office
Six Flags!
Sleeping
Summer Work
Waiting for AP scores
Nothing much else

Not really in HS but… I was invited to study music in Europe  I did it last year too… Most of the other people there are grad students but haha well I’ve always enjoyed the “being thrown into the deep end tied to a cinderblock” method of learning to swim.

chillin, thats pretty much it, except im getting a job and im gonna try and get a drivers permit and of course community service, glad its just freshman year, no pressure at all, for now 0_o aha

I’m just going to watch tv all day. Also, this guy I met offered me a job as a drug dealer, but I don’t know whether I should accept.

I’ll be getting ready for college and working full or almost full time at the Waterpark.

June: volunteering here and there, flute lessons
July: COSMOS @ UCSD
August: Alaska cruise, school starts 24th
