Summer plans!

Will be able to give u more information about the summer program after 12th March.
A little busy right now…

I did summer college in Cornell! And it was the best experience ever!
And yeah, you do get an advantage while answering the “Why” question for the particular college, you can get a recommendation from the professor if you want.
Otherwise, any college would be happy to see you utilized your summer.

aah, i’ll be interning at a local research centre or i’ll be volunteering there.
no summer programs for me! i would rather do something good and useful than to go to some summer program and spend thousands of dollars there.

Isn’t exactly less useful to go to a summer program and yeah, expensive but worth it. Specially for people who want to study in the United States but are not acquainted with the culture, teaching style etc. there. I went there to see if I like it for 6 weeks there, because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t go for four years. (trust me, I know many people there who hated it and would no more be applying).
Things are always drastically different from what we read, and there is a lot that we need to adjust to there which summer college did acquaint me with. (read:culture)

I am going to summer@brown for 2 weeks…should be a good experience, my main goal is to see the environment and culture of the place where I have to live the next 8 years of my life.

hey,
i got selected for it last year.
Not that tough to get into.
since the fee is steep- 1 lac.
