summer plans?

I was planning on getting into berkely so i could blow some cash this summer by going backpacking in europe (yay paris and jim morrison's grave) with some friends, but STanford kinda ruined that for me.
any plans for working, interning, hugging your parents before you leave them forever, or road-trips?
i need some ideas before i'm so desperate for cash i become the cashier at starbucks. which would be cool

i'll probably be working, but i definitely want to get some road-tripping in too.

i mean, it'll probably be the last time i get to spend an extended period of time with my high school friends, after all.

world cupping it in germany

partying for the rest of june after graduation, then working through july to pay for backpacking in europe in august with friends. youth hostels here i come!

Redcube2, really? I'm so jealous. I'll be here watching it on Spanish TV. Do you know what games you're going to yet?

Go see Hostel, and then go backpacking across Europe. I dare you.

i applied RD but i want to share...

cross country roadtrip with some friends.

woo!

30-Day North America rail pass? I dunno if I can call it a road trip....
We're really excited about seeing Montreal, and then we haven't really planned out anything else.

theyre still figuring it out. the only way we got tickets was by forming a team that is gonna compete in the eurostars youth cup. were gonna get massacred every game, but well get to see like, 3 professional games, itll be fun.

Probably attend Stanford Summer School

I want a JR pass. too bad I'm not in Japan, though. I <3 bullet trains..._

Hopefully I'll be doing Stanford's CCIS program again.

YAY.. home after this tiring senior year!

I'll be traveling around South American from early June to late August. Then until school starts in late September, I'll travel around western Europe.

I'll be going to Japan, Thailand, and India. My first time out of the US!

I am toying with three options (not finalized, which is bad b/c I should buy plane tickets soon):

1) China + Taiwan + Philippines: Would go to latter 2 countries for a church trip and to China for either a family visit type deal or to learn Chinese (and pay for classes by teaching English?).

2) South America, mainly Brazil: More of a church deal.

3) Eastern Europe: Also more of a church trip. (As in my visiting the churches in Poland, Slovakia, etc. rather than going with my church in CA to Eastern Europe.)

I am spending a month in Italy with another graduating Friend. Rome, Venice, Florance, and Milan are our main targets

anyone thinking about going to New Orleans to volunteer and somehow pitch in? it's really complicated and i'm not sure what i could contribute (i can barely make cereal and I've only dissected fetal pig brains)...but still, it would rock. anyone doing anything really meaningful and beneficial to the world?

I'm hoping to teach an SAT class. I seriously think it'll be fun, plus I get to charge a lot of money. haha. :)

well, i kick start the summer down at OCean City, NJ for senior week for the last time I see most of my friends together in one place.

i have a job offer @ upenn's biomed but it 's a hardcore, serious daily 9-5 job. I might take that but I doubt it. Too much commitment I can't guarantee.

Apparently my aunt is getting married to a trcuk driver 10 years younger than her so I'm probably going to Taiwan for that.

Stanford's starting date is very late. So i figure some major road trippage potential across the border.

as for philanthropic causes, nothing planned yet but my conscience is looking for something good.
