<p>after grad i'm going on a mini road trip to palm springs with some friends, then i'm going to paris, rome and florence with a friend for like 3 weeks! then im going for family visits in the mid east, and back just in time for the death cab concert and last goodbyes...</p>
<p>A few days after graduation, I'm going to Belize (a school trip) for eight days with some of my friends. Then I might go to Chicago for two weeks or get a job. But I'm going to spend most of my time in Irvine and hang out with friends a lot.</p>

<p>I was nominated for a program through the US State Department to study Arabic in Cairo this summer...if I get the scholarship then that's what I'll be doing...otherwise I think I'll be working...</p>

<p>lecorbeau- at AUC? ive never been but my friend went and raved about its beauty...ive taken summer classes at AUB (beirut) and the whole experience was fantastic.</p>
<p>The whole program is pretty neat. I'd be living with an Egyptian host family, taking intensive Arabic classes, touring the country, and meeting Egyptian heads of state. It's a 2 month program.</p>
<p>So no it's not at AUC :)</p>
<p>speaking of which I almost applied to AUP but heard the people were stupid and they don't really give financial aid...so I didn't.</p>

<p>I go to a high school in Irvine and I think the president of the study abroad organization I volunteer with nominated me, but I'm not sure.</p>
<p>Haha, I love how everyone stops posting after lecorbeau says he's going to Cairo. All of a sudden summer jobs and trips to the Grand Canyon seem laughable, dont they?</p>

<p>other than that, relaaaaaaax. i don't want to do anything this summer, after senior year and all the stress associated with that.
