<p>Wow. As someone who worked at a restaurant for a long time, I agree with leah – augustuscaesar, you really are a cheap ******* who should be barred from all restaurants. </p>
<p>Seriously, there are so many things wrong with what you said I don’t even know where to begin. How embarrassing for the people who go out to eat with you, to be seen with someone so cheap. I feel sorry for the waiters and waitresses who waste their time with you. </p>

<p>Standard is 15%. Most people who have worked in the industry, I find, tip 20%, higher for especially good service. And the tip you leave goes to the name of the server on the check, NOT the owner. A very small percentage usually also goes to the people who make your food, and the people who clean up after you when you leave.</p>
<p>Unpaid internship at an undisclosed Comedy Central show starting in June, and two online classes that start next week. I’m also going to Atlantic City later tonight until late next week. I’m hoping to win some money there and take a trip to Vegas with it.</p>
