<p>Hey my fellow Canadians! So school is wrapping up, and I was just wondering what your plans are for the summer. I don't know about you, but I feel like I should be studying for the SATS, or starting application essays while I have all of this free time. However, I'm not too sure that I will get a lot done.... Anways, list things like:</p>

-camps
-travel
-volunteering
-studying (for what?)
-independent projects</p>
<p>Include anything else of interest or relevance!</p>

<li>Studying for SAT subject tests (and finalizing my decision on which ones i’ll take)</li>
<li>learning basic German (Rosetta Stone is da bomb)</li>

<li>playing piano at a retirement home</li>
<li>reviewing chemistry for biology next yr because i didnt take chemistry and biochem is the first unit :(</li>

-Going to Kenya for some volunteering over 3 weeks (in August)
-Since im gonna be quite busy, when should I start writing application essays/stuff? I’m very new to this process so I really don’t know where/when to start lol.</p>
<p>@dwarfwarri, I think applications just opened so perhaps start looking over essay prompts during the summer so you have an idea of what to expect. They typically aren’t due until Nov 1 if you’re applying early or December/January for regular decisions, so you do have lots of time (although those deadlines do sneak up very quickly!) but once school starts it can be more challenging to juggle everything. </p>
