Summer Program Decision

Hi everyone,

I was hoping that I could get some advice on my summer plans. I made it into Simons, NJ Gov School of Engineering and Technology, and Ross and am having a hard time making a final decision. I enjoy math more than I enjoy research so Ross is currently my top choice. However, I also want to be exposed to research and am therefore still considering GSET. A negative of GSET, according to friends who attended GSET in past years, is that the program is more for fun than for learning. In order to participate in real research, I am keeping the option of Simons open too mostly because I think real research will help me with college admissions more than GSET or Ross. Also, I'm not sure about choosing Ross because I think GSET and Simons are both more prestigious. I am also waiting on a final decision by SSP since I am currently an alternate.

If you have experience with these programs, can you comment on how much you learned, how the overall experience was like, and how much you felt like going to that program helped you with college admissions?

Thank you!
