Summer Program
What are the dorms like for the summer program? Where are they located?
What exactly do we do at the summer program?
I know we can earn up to 7 credits, but in what?
Dorms
How do you apply for a three person dorm?
Which dorm is the best? I know for a fact the one closer to Engineering area isn't all that good.

Aid
Will thay remove my ISS status, when they find out my mother(who lives in another state) is the one who's filling out my FAFSA?

Which summer program are you referring to?

Dorms are randomized for incoming freshman, so besides from what you fill out in your survey, you don’t have an option.

Do you have in-state residency? Or did you falsify that?

Well I have residency since I can provide the papers that I’m a resident of CT, or was a resident at the time I applied. I called and emailed, but they don’t give me clear answers. Like before I was accepted they said I needed to appeal for ISS tution, but then they say on the letter that I’m ISS. That confused me, and when I called again they said its fine, but I’m betting once they see who fills out my FAFSA they are going revoke the ISS tution.

Don’t know which program. I’ll reread the letter again, but currently I don’t have it.

Summer support services pre-collegiate program is the one I got into. Will I be able to come on as an undecided engineering major if I do well in the program?

Sorry I meant come in not on.

I would advice that you call admissions to get the specifics about the requirements they gave you, since they are individualized.

So does it matter who fills out my fafsa?

There are federal instructions on who fills out the FAFSA. If you look on the site, it should describe it.

If my mother happens to fill it out would they take away my ISS status?

If you are audited, and you are found to be OOS, then yes, you will lose your IS status.

Well the fafsa hotline told me my mother is the one the one who fills it out so I’ll just do it and then appeal if my status changes

Everyhing is good now thank Philosopher.

Anyone hear from the summer program?
