<p>Hey everyone!
So I'm applying for a few programs, including BU RISE and Clark Scholars at TTU.
For those of you who are applying to several research-oriented programs, can I ask for some advice regarding the essays?
I'm assuming most essays are along the lines of: what do you want to study, why, how will this program contribute to your future goals, etc...</p>

<p>How am I supposed to approach this essay? Should I be straightforward and to the point? Or am I supposed to treat it as a narrative-style prompt? I don't have any experience with these at all.
Any help?</p>

<p>I don’t think there’s any specific guidelines on the style of answer. I prefer narrative because it allows you to show more of your personality.</p>
