Summer program helping?

<p>I did a summer scholar program last summer at the University of Miami, taking two courses over three weeks. 6 college creds and I got a 4.0 GPA. How much so do you think that will help me in applying to Miami?</p>

<p>I have a 3.4 weighted GPA at a private PA highschool with 7AP's. 1240 SAT out of 1600. Member of NHS and NSHSS. I have excellent EC's, and great recs and essay too. </p>

<p>Basically I know my GPA is low for Miami. I'm wondering if you think the summer program will help my chances and if so how much</p>

<p>i dont think that the summer program will help very much...since it's basically just pay-your-way...but it does show interest which is good i guess. actually you've probably gotten your decision by now?</p>
