Summer Program question

Sorry to be asking so many questions about the summer program in the U of C section, but I figured people here would know better.

I thought I had everything cleared up about the summer program, but just to make sure, the philosophy courses, foreign languages, and other programs like those are only for high school seniors that have been accepted into U of C, right? I only ask because there's about 8 open other than that, and I'd rather take philosophy than law and litigation.

The philosophy and foreign language courses you're referring to are all part of the summer quarter undergrad. CLASSES that you can take for actual college credit. These are open to all high school students and current U of C undergrads as well.

Law & Litigation, Stones & Bones, & etc. are high school summer programs where you can learn and do various hands-on activities.

Whoops, I forgot to mention, you also earn credit for the summer programs.

Ah, thank you for clearing that up. Does anyone have a link to the undergrad application courses? I only have the one with law and litigation and couldn't find an actual application for the other ones.

thanks idad, I read thru again and they are available to me. Now my question is, are the summer undergraduate courses harder to get into than the other ones like law and litigation?

This is what I'm wondering as well. I'm in the process of completing my own application. The high school programs (stones & bones, etc) don't appeal to me too much, so I was planning on taking a class in the Humanities or one of the languages. I've heard people say that getting into the summer programs is generally easy, but I have no idea if this applies to the summer quarters undergrad courses as well.
