Hi, this may be VERY late but I’m a current junior and I am interested in applying for an academically focused summer program the summer of 2019 because I have nothing going on and want to spend my summer doing something beneficial and productive. Last year I did not do a summer program because I was attending a Algebra 2 course in order to skip it for junior year and previous years I attended a ballet summer intensive.
So basically I know absolutely nothing about summer programs and do not want to attend one that will accept anybody as long as they are able to pay for it.
Does anybody have any recommendations for summer programs that may accommodate my interests or other people have enjoyed in the past?
- I am not STEM focused
- I am not 100% sure what I want to do yet but probably something related to law, economics, or business (yes, that’s very broad I’m sorry)
- I enjoy English, history, anything in those categories, etc.
- Cost is not a concern to me as long as its not outrageous lol
- Traveling is also not a concern to me and I am willing to board
- As of right now; unweighted GPA is 3.7 and weighted is 4.0
