Hi there. I recently applied and was interested in going to "Operation Catapult," a summer program at Rose-Hulman Institute. My question is that is it worth it, especially for college applications? Will it make me stand out?

I have pretty strong SAT scores, classes, and GPA. But I wanted something different from others. I am looking to apply to a few accelerated medical programs this fall and was wondering whether this would help me in admissions even though it's not geared towards the medical field? If not, what else could I do? Thanks!

it may differentiate u from the other kids who only did research

this coming from a kid who's enrolling in a med prgrm next yr

just make sure u have the basics: volunteering at a hospital, etc.

this rose hulman thing may actually help u

yeah....i was wondering about this program also? btw can u still apply to it (is it too late)?

what types of things do they do there? anybody?

It's lots of fun, but I think it might be too late to apply. Google it and find the official site.

It's all about engineering. You do a project 6 days a week about 6-8 hours a day for 3 weeks and every free hour is spent in all kinds of activities too numerous to list here.
