Hi,
I have been trying to find good summer programs for Computer Science that will actually teach me important skills. There are lots of them out there. Any noteworthy ones that I should look into?
Thanks

If you are a girl try the Girls Who Code Summer Program. It’s selective but if you get in it’s free and you actually can get a $1500 Stipend for the summer (6 weeks), if you qualify. There are women in the field who are mentors who meet with them weekly. My daughter participated and meals and transportation was included. There is a graduation where you present your final project and at the end and you become an Alumni with access to the mentors. Many get summer jobs and internships which could lead to longterm employment opportunities through the network. My daughter’s program was at Prudential in New Jersey.
Well, I’m a guy…
@AVraze by “good” do u mean prestigious ones that look good on college apps or like useful learning wise? i’ve heard that alphastar academy is pretty good for learning as far as USACO and other competitions go
