Hey guys, I'm a current senior looking for a summer research program to go to this coming summer. I'm interested in doing research in biology (any subfield, although ecology/evolutionary is preferable), and I have some prior research experience, including going to the (absolutely amazing) Clark Scholars Program at Texas Tech last summer and some stuff the summer before that. I want a program that's free (a stipend would be nice, too, but not necessary), residential (unless it's near the Ann Arbor/Detroit area), and intensive. I'm aware that a lot more opportunities open up after senior year, but I've had trouble finding them. Can any of you please recommend suitable programs to me?

Clark Scholars Program at TTU. Oh, wait…

Hmmm…it sounds familiar. I’ll look it up, thanks! :)

Any other suggestions?

Yeah, anyone else? I’m looking for something to do this summer besides work, and I haven’t really found any suitable programs.

This isn’t for research, but my son said the National Youth Science Camp was the best summer program he ever attended (and he did 2 that are frequently discussed here). [National Youth Science Camp](http://www.nysc.org/)

Two from each state are selected, plus a few international students.

haha, does the ‘Oh, wait…’ mean we’re not eligible, as seniors?

Ahhhhh never mind, proletariat2 went last year. Whoops.

Bump! Are there any that actually have an acceptance rate higher than 10%?
